At RDT, every facet of a project is designed from the ground up. The team has experience in Project Engineering, estimating and Cost Control in addition to many years design and drafting experience.

RDT have formed a close relationship with QUT, with the Commercial Manager acting as a Mentor to students in their last year of study. RDT are committed to provide work experience to Engineering students, and have supported students’ project work in the recycling industry.

The Engineering group consists of Civil, Mechanical and Environmental Engineering experience. All of RDT’s designs conform to the latest International Standards and their own proprietary equipment (conveyors and perforator) comply with CE certification.

The team is conversant with the Standards within Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Particular emphasis is placed on OH&S and Machinery guarding, as well as maintenance access.

RDT’s policy is to send the design team on-site during the design phase as well as the construction and commissioning stages of a project. The experience gained by the staff ensures designs are both practical to install and are operationally efficient.
