Conveyors

RDT design and supply trough and flat deck conveyors in a range of widths from 400mm to 2000mm wide. With the use of conveyor calculation software and our vast experience in conveyor design RDT ensures that the drives and bearings are sized according to the required duty.

RDT conveyors come complete with the following features:

• Two piece or solid welded head and tail drums.
• Lagged head drums for drive traction (Tail drums can be lagged for reversing conveyors.)
• Tail drum belt tensioning device.
• Hungry boards with skirting system.
• Adjustable return rollers.
• Head bearing adjustment for drum alignment.
• Gearmotor on left or right hand side.
• Guarding of nip points to Australian & European Standards.
• Unique shaft protection guards for head drums.

RDT Can also supply the following optional extras:

• Belt scrappers and 'V' ploughs.
• Bearing grease lines.
• Belt tracking devices.
• Transition chutes.
• Flat, Bullhorn and rough top conveyor belts with clipped or vulcanised joins.
• Low speed sensors for belt tear monitoring

RDT can also provide Truck Unloading Conveyors which are a great way to store and feed incoming product into a recycling facility without the use of mobile plant. They allow trucks to be unloaded quickly and for the product to be stored in a neat and tidy manner.
