Our Achievements
RDT has successfully designed, installed and commissioned numerous MRFs throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. In 2007 and 2008 RDT received the Exporter of the Year Award and the Export Excellence Award from the Australian British Chamber of Commerce for the design and construction of a MRF for the Lancashire County Council, United Kingdom.
Environmental Achievements
The Material Recovery Facilities that RDT has built are responsible for a significant increase in global recycling capacity. The re-use of materials as an alternative to mining or harvesting virgin materials represents significant energy savings world wide. In addition to this contribution to energy saving, RDT places great importance in the efficient design of materials processing equipment to reduce energy consumption of our facilities.
RDT has designed and constructed a number of Material Recovery Facilities which have increased the global recycling capacity by 220,000 tonnes per year. This effectively reduces waste diverted to landfill by approximately 1.2 million cubic meters per year
